AI Data Centers and the Next Energy Challenge
The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence is creating an equally rapid demand for reliable, large-scale energy infrastructure. AI data centers require not only enormous amounts of continuous electricity, but also cooling, water, land, grid capacity, and dependable backup systems.
ENKI IN21 explores an alternative direction: using the ocean as a new environment for energy and computing infrastructure. The concept combines the potential of underwater or offshore data centers with renewable energy generated from continuous ocean currents such as the Florida Current and Gulf Stream.
ENKI IN21 proposes an R&D program focused on developing a new low-resistance hydrokinetic turbine technology capable of achieving higher unit power through scalable modular systems. The concept is currently an engineering hypothesis requiring modeling, testing, and technical validation—not a claim of an already completed industrial technology.

We believe that sustainable territorial development begins with a thorough understanding of natural, geological, hydrological, and environmental conditions. Based on this foundation, energy systems, residential environments, agro-industrial production, industrial facilities, and integrated infrastructure systems can be developed.
The proposed program does not require implementation of all directions simultaneously. Clients may select individual studies or establish comprehensive territorial development programs according to their objectives and priorities.
